Card2Print

Terms and Conditions

Version 2026-10-28

These terms are the agreement between you and Card2Print when you use Card2Print or buy something from us. We’ve written them to be read, not skimmed: the important parts are in the first few sections. If anything isn’t clear, write to support@card2print.com.

1. About these terms

They apply to everyone who uses Card2Print: people who start a card, people who sign one, and the person it’s for. If you buy an extra or a gift card, these terms (and, for gift cards, the Gift card terms) are the contract for that purchase. How we use personal data is in the Privacy notice.

If you’re a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights the law gives you in the EU or the UK.

2. Who we are

Card2Print (the company is being registered in Romania; its legal name, registration number and address will appear here). You can reach us at support@card2print.com, through the contact form or the live chat on our Help page.

3. What Card2Print is

Free beta. Card2Print is in a free beta: every card feature is free, and nothing can be bought. Print-ready PDFs are free for every card during the beta. Other extras, such as premium covers, photo covers and gift cards, are shown as “Coming soon” (you can try choosing a gift card, but not buy one). The beta may change as we learn, and we'll tell you before anything that costs money becomes available. Sections 8 to 11 apply to purchases once extras are on sale.

Card2Print lets one person start a group e-card, share a link so others can sign it with a message, a GIF or a photo, and have it delivered by email on a chosen day, where it opens with an animated reveal. The card is free. You can pay for extras (a premium cover, your own photo cover, a print-ready PDF) and, where offered, add a gift card. We don’t print or post physical cards.

4. Using Card2Print

  • You must be at least 16 to start a card, create an account or buy anything. Anyone with a signing link can sign; children should ask a parent first.
  • Use Card2Print for personal cards between people who know each other: not for advertising, spam or bulk messaging.
  • Don’t try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

6. Your content and our rules

What you write and upload stays yours. You let us store it, show it to the people who have the card’s links, and use it to make the card’s reveal, print PDFs and emails, only for as long as we keep the card. Only add photos and GIFs you’re allowed to share.

Don’t post anything illegal; threats or harassment; hate speech; sexual content; other people’s private information; or spam and scams. The person who started a card can hide or delete any message on it.

Reporting. If you see something that breaks these rules, press Report on the message, or write to us; our contact point for illegal content is support@card2print.com. We review reports, usually within one working day. We may hide content that breaks the rules; when we do, we tell the person who reported it and, if we have their email, the person who wrote it, with our reasons. You can ask us to look at a decision again. We may block accounts that repeatedly break these rules.

7. Accounts

You don’t need an account. If you sign in (we email you a one-time link; there are no passwords), My cards keeps your cards together. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You can delete your account, and every card it owns, at any time from My cards.

8. Prices and paying

  • During the free beta nothing is sold and no payment is taken; the prices below are what we plan to charge at full launch.
  • Extras today: premium cover €1.29, your photo cover €2.99, print-ready PDF A5 €3.99 or A4 €4.99, for one card each.
  • Prices are final. Card2Print is exempt from VAT, so nothing is added at checkout. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
  • The price is shown before you pay. On the website you pay by card through our payment provider, Stripe; in the iPhone app you pay Apple, at Apple’s price, under Apple’s terms.
  • If we ever show a clearly wrong price, we’ll tell you before supplying anything and you can cancel for a full refund.

9. Getting an extra, and your right to cancel

Extras are digital content we supply straight away: a premium or photo cover appears on your card as soon as payment is confirmed, and a print PDF is made within minutes.

Consumers in the EU and the UK normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once we start supplying it, but only if you asked us to start straight away and acknowledged that you’d lose the right. We ask for this before you pay, and confirm it in your order email. If we didn’t ask, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund by writing to us.

This doesn’t affect your rights if an extra is faulty or not as described (section 10).

10. If something goes wrong: refunds

  • Faulty or not as described. If an extra doesn’t work as we describe it, tell us. We’ll fix it or supply it again; if we can’t do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, we’ll refund you (in full, or in part if you’ve had some use of it). In the UK these are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; in the EU, under your country’s consumer law. If faulty digital content we supplied damages your device or other content, and we didn’t take reasonable care, we’ll repair the damage or compensate you.
  • Charged twice, or for something that didn’t arrive. Full refund.
  • Bought by mistake and not used yet (for example a print size you haven’t downloaded), within 14 days: we’ll refund it on request.
  • Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days of us agreeing to them. Purchases made in the iPhone app are refunded by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Gift cards have their own rules (section 11).

11. Gift cards

Where gift cards are offered, buying one is covered by the Gift card terms: in short, you can change or cancel it for a full refund until it’s sent with your card (or within 14 days of buying, if it hasn’t been sent), and once it’s sent it’s final.

To protect people from fraud, we check payments and may hold a gift card while we review it, or ask the buyer to confirm their identity. A person on our team makes any decision to refuse an order, and you can ask us to look at it again.

12. Keeping cards and the service running

  • Cards are kept for 12 months after they’re delivered, then deleted, unless the person who started the card chose to keep it. You can delete a card at any time; we can restore a deleted card for 30 days if you ask.
  • We work to keep Card2Print available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If a scheduled card can’t be sent on time, we send it as soon as we can.
  • We improve Card2Print over time. We won’t take away anything you’ve paid for without giving you a refund.
  • You can stop using Card2Print at any time. We may suspend access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or a safety concern prevents it.

13. Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, for what other people write on a card, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Help and complaints

Write to us through the contact form, the live chat or support@card2print.com. A person replies within one working day. If you’re making a complaint, say so: you get a case number straight away and our final answer within 30 days.

If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the consumer protection authority where you live: in Romania, ANPC (anpc.ro); in the UK, Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk), which passes cases to Trading Standards; elsewhere in the EU, your national consumer authority or the European Consumer Centre.

15. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there: in the UK, the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, depending on where you live.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law or the service changes. The version and date are at the top. If a change matters to you, we’ll tell you before it applies. A purchase is always governed by the terms in force when you made it.
